- Personality. Is the potential resident sociable? My father-in-law loves to talk with different people everywhere we go. He thrives to interact with different personalities. He would be appropriate in a large assisted living facility when the time comes.
- Activities. Would the potential resident thrive from activities. Residential care homes have limited activities because they generally house under ten residents.
- Cost. Residential care homes are more willing to negotiate pricing in my experience as corporate organizations have required guidelines.
